Ronnie Koenig has worked professionally as a writer for more than ten years. She is the former editor-in-chief of Playgirl magazine and writes about sex and relationships for Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Self, Marie Claire, Penthouse, AOL and iVillage.
Ronnie has appeared on Fox News and The O'Reilly Factor, lectured at colleges across the US and entertained audiences at the Kraine Theater, the 92nd St. Y, Ars Nova and the Museum of Sex. She is the author of Dirty Girl, a novel and a screenplay based on her real-life experiences at Playgirl. She also co-authored the guidebook, Naughty New York: A Lady's Guide to the Sexy City, set to be published this winter.
Her weekly humor column, "Siren Says," ran for two years in amNewYork newspaper. Ronnie is a graduate of Barnard College and the MFA playwriting program at Ohio University and taught comedy writing at Gotham Writers' Workshop.
She lives with her husband in Brooklyn.
